As for the colour (and keep in mind I'm no colour consultant), it's really hard to gauge this from a computer screen. Even the lighter of the two will appear "darker" next to the pure white undercoat. I imagine it will read lighter when the whole wall is painted. And keep in mind sunlight. The back of your house faces North, yes? This will make the colour appear lighter again. Hope that helps, but at least you've whittled it down to two.
