4/52

a portrait of my children, once a week every week in 2013 via Che and Fidel

He :  so happy to have a new pair of his favourite yellow shoes. We appreciate that he is always easy to spot in a crowd with this longstanding colour obsession.

She : is always happy to have a go, she shimmied up that rope faster than the professionals.

  1. I love the yellow in the photos, It's funny the way that colours seem to ebb and flow in households. I always find there is a steady stream of crimson in my house followed by bursts of watermelon pink and baby blue. Sometimes I find that Steve, Casper and I are all matching in colours and it is definitely that we all have colour e.s.p.
Looks like a fun place to hang out xxx

  2. My wee man Tom loves his shoes. He always has a "favourite pair". It's a green pair of sandals at the moment and despite the heat he insists on wearing socks with them! xo

  5. Those yellow shoes are perfect for this weather - mine had their gumboots on today while we checked out the swollen Brisbane river. It has just broken over the bank on Riverside Drive. xx

    1. Far out that is fast. We went out to stock up on batteries at 5 this afternoon and the Bunnings at Rocklea had the back access road already flooded. Hoping you guys are not at risk in your block. mel x

    1. It has been yellow here ever since he was two. There was brief foray into orange for a few months (thanks to octonauts) but we are firmly back with yellow. The old crocs are at deaths door, these are the only "comfortable"shoes, so thankful the new pair were acceptable. So thankful we don't have to match head to toe like you describe- I am completely not that on top of my washing. mel x
