a portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2014 via Practising Simplicity

They : as the school holidays come to an end and my ideas were running low it was time for an old fallback. The hose in the sandpit is always a winner and has given us HOURS of joy this week.

  2. Loving the Peppa Pig dress and sand/mud combo. We've been using the hose on our trampoline this summer. Much fun for young and old!

    1. Yep we have done much of that at our place too over the last few weeks, they never tire of it either. I was just trying to chose a pic for my holiday post. mel x

    1. Our sandpit is in a shocking state, we were contemplating digging it all out but apparently not quite yet! mel x

  4. I had a wonderful elderly neighbour called Bob who had raised four sons in his high set post was house. He maintained that the best thing to entertain children was a spoon each, a trickling hose and a couple of hours in the fine dusty soil under his house. My boys were very small but they still remember it. The simplest things are so often the best. x
